1st Place Your Intuition

By December 5, 2018April 17th, 2023No Comments

Lately, I’ve had a number of conversations with people going through major life transitions.

Transition in their career.

Transition out of a relationship.

Transition on how they relate to the world.

When people share their personal stories of transition with me, I often feel their pain. Mostly, because I’ve experienced many challenging transitions in my own life.

In my past, transitions came with a lot of stress, and anxiety.

Although not an expert, over the years, I’ve certainly become much better at managing them.

When transitions become difficult, the predominant response tends to be, “How can I NOT feel like sh*t as quickly as possible.”

And what often happens is that you end up asking everyone in your network, “What should I do next?”.

Support networks are extremely valuable; however it becomes a major hindrance when you anticipate that you’ll get the answers that you desire from these outside sources.

As you move into December, the biggest transition month of the year, stresses will inevitably elevate on all levels.

….perhaps you’re about to encounter a difficult family dynamic, or pushing to meet your Q4 quota, or embarking on your 2019 goals.

Whatever the situation may be, you have an opportunity to tap into your intuition and ask a deeper question of yourself, “What do I want in this moment?”.

Intuition is often described as the deepest level of listening available to you.

In times of stress and uncertainty, it can be your guiding light to help you move through life with more clarity and conviction.

Whether you’re going through a major life transition, or simply entering into the crazed holiday season, you can rely on your intuition to access your deeper truths and more compassion for yourself and others.

For the remainder of the year, I encourage you to access your intuition. TRUST that you have the answers inside of you and start to make decisions from this place.

Not only will this help you finish 2018 on strong note, it will help you get clear on 2019 as well.

So, when you’re feeling stressed, you can follow a simple three step process:

  1. Slow down.
  2. Breathe.
  3. Listen.

This is how you access your intuition.
